Hi,
I'd like to upgrade Vista home to vista Ultimate on my desktop computer. I have a MSDN subscription, which means I can download just about every microsoft software there is. However, there doesn't seem to be any vista anytime upgrade DVD available...

Ensure you and install that instead.
You should be able to upgrade to Vista ultimate using the standard Ultimate media, you should just the Vista upgrade advisor first to ensure your PC is capable of running Vista Ultimate.

System("echo hi") or any other command that does exist there's a hi.exe on your path, this is going....
Try using e.g.
Does not exist, so you'll get just the same error if you typed hi at a command prompt (codeblocks has nothing to do with it).

I ordered the thinkpad w500 with the windows xp recovery disc. And i never got one for the window vista. I was wondering if i could try out the windows vista see if it better than the SP3 that I am running at right now?

Since your machine was shipped with XP, you'll have to purchase Vista upgrade or retail disks.
COA= Certificate of Authenticity, which is the sticker on the bottom of your ThinkPad.. .

If your users don't have Administrator rights and you wanted to disable all printing I suppose you could use Group Policy to force the "Spooler" service to "Disabled" .

You need to install Linux onto a hidden bootsector as shown for you:

Then in Linux, follow the steps to add Linux to the Vista Bootloader.
In EasyBCD, select Reinstall the Vista Bootloader then Write MBR .

Hi,
Occasionally working in Windows Vista the O.S. will desaturate the screen, rendering all colors as grayscale. Is there a way to do this programatically? Failing that, is there a way to do it by tweaking Vista settings?

Visual Studio on Windows Vista doesnt actually cover VS 2008 specifically be to.
IIS works fine on Vista as well.
