It started happening a few updates ago and I can't figure out if it's some setting that changed or if there's some reason it can't access the file. Has anyone else had this problem and been able to fix it?
I'd like to avoid a blanket uninstall/reinstall...

There may also be a folder called winamp....
Maybe take ownership of winamp.m3u (or the winamp directory)
In the appdata\winamp directory.
Let me know.
Go in Folder Options - File Types and make sure the .m3u files are opened by Winamp.

Hi,
the WinAmp DLL bundled with Invision just lets mIRC crash everytime i start it since i have WinAmp 5.5 installed.
As workaround i had to remove all references to this DLL in idccnmp3.mrc:
alias load-input-plugin { return }
alias load-all-inputs { ...

As soon as i uninstall winamp invision then runs OK again....
But its still crashing....
If you still had issues..
The latest Invision (November release) should fix the issues with WinAmp.

Out-dated 3rd party plug-ins are in most cases the causes of Winamp failing but that's one loaded into Winamp.

I got an iPod nano so I installed the ml_ipod.dll plugin for better iPod support, but it turns out I'm an idiot and I clicked the wrong link and installed an outdated version. So...
