When both of my pickups are at full volume, the tone doesn't work at all. What's the problem?

Just got my 5150 today and need to know if there is a way i can get the wide open tube tone at a low volume? is there like a maximizer/limiter type box i can get to use when its late and i want to jam with the full tone of my amp?
any advice/input would...

Thats crank my master volume....
You can also try running your channel volume
Fuck attenuators, IMO they kill your tone more than just turning down your master volume.
This will give you a a decent tone at a low volume.

It is internally isolated, I immediately could tell that the volume and tone knobs responded totally differently with them, mostly like volume and tone on a stereo or amp.

Ok I've dug up old threads and still cant seem to fix this problem. Basically the second tone pot is working similarly to a volume pot. I changed posts on the switch and it did it worked as a volume for both bridge and middle pickup. I've tried resoldering...

If something differ.
Is working as a volume and not tone, then the problem is something in your wiring.

Are you using a stock tone? Also there is a setting for pocket, where the sounds will slowly there where you can control the setting.

I just wired up my new Jazz following the Seymour Duncan schematic with a phase switch. All is well except that my tone control doesn't seem to cut much high end (if at all) and cuts volume down to about what would be the "2" position, then cuts all volume...

Schecter Stiletto Studio 5 of the tone necessarily being "after" the two volumes.
Fixing the tone control also gave the volume knobs a more linear sweep.
