I have installed WSUS on my Windows 2008 server. My issue is the following:
I get the error message: Windows could not search for new updates (80244019)
I can get updates from WSUS. I tried almost everything on google but can't afford some since...

Oh, and you could also use local security policy on each server.
You can create a new Components-->Windows Update.

The WSUS administration console shows computers with not installed (critical) updates.
To be clear:
The computers report their status every day. These updates do have a deadline that has already been elapsed. I assume that these updates have been hidden...

(I'm afraid you have to register in order to download at the Eminentware Extension....

Hi,
Our WSUS in our SCCM site get a very lage WSUSContent folder, and I found a guide how to clean it. But after that I get an WSUS error in SCCM.

Do you need to take WSUS server offline to upgrade it from WSUS 2.0 SP1 to WSUS 3.0 SP1 ? Would there be any issues running this upgrade while the Sever is online and clients are connecting to it ?
