I would really like to play a WWII shooter with a good single player campaign. The most recent ones I can think of are Red Orchestra, BF 1943 and the first mission of Bad Company 2. I really loved the single player campaigns in Call of Duty 2 and even...

I bought a 1911A1 Remington Rand today at the Marlboro Gun show. All the stampings look correct, the serial number on the right side is on top of the parkerizing and is super sharp. The frame and slide to my mind are Remington Rand WWII.
I have a couple...

The grips look appropriate for a WWII.
Far be it from me to argue with gun club experts, but all WWII barrels were blued for their 22 auto pistols and such guns as the Sentinel revolvers.
Very similar.

My father brought home two 1911s from his service in the Army Air Forces during WWII. One is the standard issue with blued finish that he probably got during basic training. Another has a nickel finish. Does anyone have information on when nickel-finished...

Is this gun a "shooter" or a "collector"? I've read from the experts here.
I'm looking for opinions from the experts here.
Other.
Maybe the blued one is a M1911 since they were still being issued in WWII.
To see them anyway.

My favorite shooter at the moment is this RC bcd 4 that I bought for parts with and without scope.
My favorite part about the rifle is the stock, but with a sanded stock .
I have no perfect rifles, but I do have a shooter.
