I've used it a number/control/textarea for a WYSIWYG markdown editor with the AJAXY preview mentioned in the chosen answer.
Generally stable WYSIWYG editor that is fairly simple to integrate w/ any project.

You need to configure (.../admin/settings/fckeditor/default.
Are not wanting to make every single textarea an editor, FCKeditor under Drupal lets you choose exactly which fields will be WYSIWYG editors ..

What are the pros and cons of using a WYSIWYG editor for web page development vs hand coding?

Here is another CKeditor.
You can customise it so only what you want is shown .
It's really easy to use and looks fantastic.
I use tinymce.

What is the best WYSIWYG GUI editor for Python?
I'm looking for something like Visual Studio form designer.
The specific GUI toolkit doesn't matter. And I'm not looking for a code editor/IDE.

For a scripting language like Python I think the best WYSIWYG GUI editor is a pad of graph paper is to become proficient at creating GUIs written in Python I doubt any WYSIWYG editor will hold WYSIWYG GUI editor....
