Has anyone had a problem with carrying a walking stick on board a flight? My husband has slight mobility problem at the moment and is using a collapsible walking stick. Is it likely to be confiscated at security checkpoints anywhere? We are travelling...

My knee is buggered- those of you who use poles or walking sticks- is there anything to know about different brands or styles? I'd vastly prefer to use only one, to take the weight off of my bung knee, rather than both.

While out camping every year I LOVE to carve things with pocket knives. Here is my most recent carving, a walking stick with an eagle on top.
I have also made a dagger, an indian hammer, and an airplane.
