My son's wallet was stolen on his way from Eilat to Egypt a few days ago. We immediately canceled the check-card/debit cards and VISA. Fortunately, he had his passport separate as well as a few traveler's checks. I'm wondering what others would recommend...

For heavy usage I'd recommend Blockchain....
This makes payment processing easier usage.
