It is lighter, far more the PPK or PPK/s are available....
I sold my PPK/s and bought a SIG P232 SL.
It has been very reliable of one walther...and they will work.
Walther PPK that I carry, and I really like it a lot.
How many of you have purchased a Walther PPK as a result of your love of the James Bond movies? I admit I did at one point, but have since sold it for something more functional. JM

I also thing the hammer and other bits might snag a bit when drawing .
Carries the same # of rounds as the PPK.
I have the Walther in PPKS .380 and I find it to be a nice IWB carry.
Too big IMO for pocket carry.
I recently purchased a beautiful PPK, the fit & finish of the gun is impressive. I then noticed that on the right of the slide Interarms ,had their logo inscribed.On the left side of the slide,in small letters is Made in USA With the Walther logo above...

The PPK/S was developed to get around the ban and those guns were and Wesson guns or so I have been told.
I bought a German manufactured PPK for $98 in 1968 before the gun control act of 1968 effectively banned the gun from import.
