On the estate the two bottles are connected, there's no separate bottle the crud out of the wash bottle(s) and hose the muck out, refill with cooled boiled water (won't fur up collecting, in my case....
Not the pressure washer).

That's what I do.
If you use the windows washer breifly, instead of holding the stalk back, the headlight washers washer jets (eg: when the flow isn't directed at your wipers).
