Something along the lines of Canaan, Black Lagoon, and Jormungand. Something with guns, relatively modern, action, and slightly mentally unstable characters.

GG season 1 is good is supposed to be a good anime but that and El cazador, I had the HARDEST time trying to watch graphics and moe-fied characters....
I'd also throw Madlax into the too painful to watch category.

Believe it or not, I watch something pretty much every day; although it's not always anime.
I'm comforted by it's presence and the fact that I have a great deal of anime to watch.
