This is a serious question.
It seems like one of the hold ups with the Kingston is the fact that Bill has to re-do all the work the Swiss did, why not just assemble them here in the US to begin with?

Their tradition of producing watches started with small watch houses making.
Having watches assembled with swiss parts in Switzerland and inspected for final inspection I dont of swiss francs per watch.

Has anyone done this? (I'm sure there must be plenty on here who have).
Checking the Internet has been little help as there seem to be many conflicting opinions.
The watch value is in the 2.5k-3k range.
Any help or advice much appreciated.

I got a couple of not-too-expensive watches from a company based in Switzerland (they weren't even Swiss watches) and oddly didn't get hit with any on my Zeno orders.
Not be a major effort to post outside Switzerland.

I heard that STS can assemble (and then sell) watches from parts, where the case, dials and hands are still available.
