Hi All,
I am wondering what to do with my Silly girls and their water bottles!
I have been using the glass bottle (ball type) and have had to put a bowl under it because when these 2 drink they are so sloppy I have to empty the bowl and refill the bottle...

How do you remove the filter? Just and the sludge was only in... .
That definitely looks like poo! took bottle out and emptied water out and this is what it was like in the bottle, might just be sludge caught when it's been topped up.

What is a good water bottle insulator for winter hiking? So far I've seen the Forty Below bottle boots and the OR bottle parkas that use closed-cell foam insulation..does anyone have any experience with these and do they work?

The EMS-brand water bottle coozies are much better- more durable, less prone really want want hot....
Normally I'm more than satisfied with any OR product, but this one is seriously sub-par .

Are the 5 gallon water bottles that are typically in offices on the water dispensers the same thing as a 5 gallon better bottle/carboy? Can one of these be used as a fermenter? I saw some filled with water without the handle for $6 at a local convenience...

I think one of the big things is that even it is a good water bottle not sure how long....
But most of what with the better bottle.
I would imagine it would WORK to use the water bottle...
But they arent recommended.

I keep losing my water bottles on rough trails - I get to the bottom of a run, and notice that it jumped ship somewhere along the way. While not only bad karma, as sometimes I am unable to retrieve the bottle, it also leaves me with nothing to drink.
