I accidentally dropped my keyboard in a bucket of water and it is now on fire? Oh and the water is actually Petrol and I dropped a match into it. OH and the Keyboard is actually my house. Oh and the bucket is actually a tanker.

Since I keep my canopy temps under 80, my water temps no trouble with the water temps....
Once my plants are big enough to form a canopy, the temp on top of the res is at least 10 degrees cooler that at the foliage canopy .

Just purchased 4 12-16in plants. They are in like 4x4 rockwool cubes. I put them in 8in netpots and covered them with washed hydroton. Put maybe 3/4 inch hydroton down before I layed the plant down in there. Being the roots arent below the net basket ...

Is that you would want to put the water level at the very bottom of the netcup so the roots could get evry bit of oxygenated water splahing on them so they could develop a good root system...then once a good the roots to work for their ....

As anyone used the Firehouse Subs pickle bucket as a fermentation bucket? They're 5gal with a sealing lid and only $2. As a bonus, that money goes to charity.
