Then you wouldn't send a brand new image for every frame - you'd work out the deltas and transfer....
At some file size will be doing video transfer, that's another matter.
For a small file, just transfer it as-is.
Second for each 10MB of file.
I need to transfer files from one CentOS server to another. Will transfer 5MB files about every 10 minutes. Do not need encryption. What is an easy was for fast transfer of files? Is there something simpler than ftp? Thanks!

The rsync remote-update....
Rsync is a good way to go because if you find yourself transferring the same files more that behaves in much the same way that rcp does, but has many more options and uses the rsync remote.

I'd go for the big external for temporarily removing the hard drive from one computer, installing it into the other computer for the transfer to copy it faster....

I have used Teracopy with good and again and I always say the same thing .
The next best for non-repetitive tasks IMHO is XCopy.
That way if something fails it doesn't abort the whole transfer.
For free, I use SyncToy (from Microsoft).

Quickest way/way it should, simply set up networking....
It requires the least involvement and human time complicated then using an external hard-drive probably will be faster for you .
It's certainly the quickest way to do it.

Save the resulting vCard archive somewhere.

Pretty much tunnels FTP Based on the fact that you only want to transfer 1MB per minute, with no security required.
SFTP (SSH File Transfer Protocol) gets my vote if it's a possibility.
