I've been a programmer for about 5 years now, and one of the things I've noticed is that some days I might code all day and feel fine, and some days I might have that "I've been staring at the screen too long" feeling by 11:30.

As far as I can tell developing for Silverlight is free as long as you already have Visual Studio 2008. Does anyone know if MS has any plans to change that?

And I don't think Microsoft has plans changing that, because that would mean they get a lot less new Silverlight developers, and it would take longer for Silverlight to catch up to Flash.
Which is free.

I've always thought having a body disappear in front of you is a huge immersion breaker. Is there a way to increase the time they stay?

I would recommend not touching it if your average....
That probably means that the dead bodies will stay longer on YOUR side only....
But if they didn't disappear, soon there would be hundreds of destroyed tanks blocking the roads....

I would recommend not doing a spilt stay.
Since half of the stay you have to do with feeding and naps.
That this one would also be a stroller sleeper and booked another split stay.
