Black tie wedding...Tux a must? My cousin decided to be a huge dick and make his wedding Black Tie in New Jersey. I don't want to rent a tux because I don't want to spend the money, look like an idiot in a shitty fitting suit and have to travel with it...

And typically a black silt tie that is made to be worn with a tux as formal wear.

Also, he could wear a tie with sport coat and slacks for the remainder of the nights in the MDR.
