The channel does have the Local on the 8's segment.
The Weather Channel HD on channel 1225 was working on 2/6/12-2/8/12.
Its one of my favorites.
I been waiting for this channel.

I just received my Fios hookup,
I receive the Weather channel for Newark, NJ
I live in Toms River and do not even go up North unless it is to the airport.
So When will I be able to get Toms River weather on the Weather Channel?

When might we see these networks; MSNBC, CNBC, The Weather Channel go 16:9 letterbox format? As CNN, HLN both went sometime last year as did ESPN and ESPN2. Just would think its time for these NBC owned networks to go 16:9.

Most Cox Media news/talk stations have their Television counterpart handle weather for them. I was wondering why this wasn't the case at WSB Radio....

Kirk Mellish is, by far, the best weather source in the Atlanta area.
And he's funny as hell when he's not on the air .
weather live on the radio and he doesn't exaggerate like the TV guys do.
