Invited to a wedding out of state for which we cannot attend. The bride is a cousin's daughter, whom we have seen possibly 10 times in her life- she's around 26.
What would be considered a nice (not extravagant) cash gift in this scenario?
TIA.

My feeling is $50 if you are not close to your cousin .
Is she registered anywhere? Are you close to your cousin? You could choose an item for which she is registered and send that dollar amount if you prefer to send a check .

Looking at wedding checklists, I've noticed some of them mention presents for the parents, and I hadn't thought about it at all. Is it still 'the done thing' to get your parents a present?
Did you do it? If so, what did you get?

Hi all,
We're currently in the process of planning our wedding. Im thinking of getting both mums a present to give them on the day, something they can keep, instead of two bouquets of flowers?
Any suggestions?
Thank you!
