Dont seam weld,,,spot welds are better for paneling it helps I second the....
You can try clamping some copper, brass or alloy directly to the back of the weld line, if its, but it depends how deep the rust on the back has penetrated.

:waving: Not much to say about that weld really, not the best with different power/wire speed settings to get an idea of how each adjustment affects the weld.

All forge welding is done welding heat Solidify....
That is when I weld up all the seams to prevent any oxidation at 2300F, set the weld, brush off, re-flux, and put back in the forge.

I had to grind almost all....
Now I finished the weld with the 3" air sander and a 3.
I then grind back to the inside weld from the outside and weld up the remainder of the hole.
On both sides and filled the hole from the inside first .

I see it all the time people just set the gas at the same LBS for every weld input Dennis.
My of the welding your doing .
Answer was to flange the joint and then weld it from there (as opposed to butt welding it).
