Dont seam weld,,,spot welds are better for paneling it helps I second the....
You can try clamping some copper, brass or alloy directly to the back of the weld line, if its, but it depends how deep the rust on the back has penetrated.

Not much to say about that weld really, not the best with different power/wire speed settings to get an idea of how each adjustment affects the weld.

I then grind back to the inside weld from the outside and weld up the remainder of the hole.

Answer was to flange the joint and then weld it from there (as opposed to butt welding it).
