Welfare Fraud

That since most of what is happening is against the rules, the government needs to get a better handle on the welfare fraud. I have no problem with people in real need receiving help. The specific example I was thinking of with that phrase was carelessness with toxins. If I'm out with my bucket of DDT and set it down on the riverside for the dog to knock over, then wander back to my house for some lemonade... I'm liable for the poisoning even though being absentminded is not 'force' under any normal definition of the term. source

It is wise not to generalize about any group as causing problems in the USA. I have seen your "illegal" subjects take jobs that you don't want and are willing to be paid much less and therefore save you money if you happen to be the employer. Meanwhile within my health care career, I have seen an abundance of US citizens who put a tremendous strain on our system and great financial debt by their abuse of their own health in copious ways such as obesity, drug addiction, smoking, etc. But I also think that if you did some traveling you might understand why we have people trying to cross the border even in an illegal manner. May I suggest you live for a year with a typical family in El Salvador. I also know of an illegal alien that managed to go through college and became a neuro-surgeon. If you ever have a brain tumor, he might be that horrible illegal alien that saves your life. Except that today he is an actual legal citizen of the US, but he had to start out in an illegal manner. It is true that illegal is illegal, but illegal may not be as bad as the legal but unproductive or abusive US citizen. Each individual needs to be judged by his own merits and we might be wise to have enough compassion to understand why certain social conditions caused an individual to seek an illegal manner towards self-improvement or to support his family. source

If you identify with socialism and support Ron Paul, like many WNs do, then why do you support him? He's a capitalist constitutionalist and opposes socialism. Do you support him simply because he'd cut welfare or his foreign policies on Israel and the Muslim world is appealing? source
