Hi,
I was just wondering does anyone know if westcoast 550sx reed cylinder stud will work in an older js440 engine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I think hes confused...I don't think westcoast made reed cylinders for the OE reed ....
1976 JS 400 - Pretty much just a shell.
1986 JS 550 - Pile of parts at the moment .
1989 JS 550 - PJS motor Dual 46's, 50 MPH on GPS.
Reed, Kind of fast.

I have a set of dual 38's intake manifolds for 650. They are in good condition, but will need the gaskets surfaces cleaned up a little better. These had old round body 38's on them. What you see if what you get.

Tighten the head bolts from the center out start at 10 ft lbs and then finish at 16 ft lbs .
Single feed is ok, but if you run the other fitting as a water out pisser than put a restricter in the line .
