Has anyone here tried the upgraded wet clutch shoes from Airdam??

I just saw that they made such a thing for the cats and I now have a second slipping wet clutch.
at the tune of $230 I hope they're fantastic...

This one only lasted 9 months....
Im gonna tear it down over the weekend and verify that is what the problem is.. .
My wet clutch is starting to slip a bit.
I haven't heard of anyone running them

I did not know if I should put this up here or in the "Driveline" category, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this.
This subject came up a coupple of years ago (on another forum) when people started having clutch slipping problems on there motorcycles...

Barnett clutch plates are the only ones in oil would destroy ....
Barnett clutch plates are the only ones derivatives will cause most wet clutches to slip.
Teflon derivatives will cause most wet clutches to slip.

My T140 slipped with the clutch that was in it when I got it running, so I put in some new friction plates (the red ones) and Barnett springs, it was unridable it slipped so bad. So I sanded on some glass the best 6 steel plates I have from a pile, put...

The wet clutch ds1000 engine's drive shaft is 15mm I'd share that with all you guys with wet clutches who have aspirations for clatter!
Obviously we used on the sprocket....
The primary gears need swapped too.

I've noticed the carpet on the driver's side of the Chim is getting wet after it rains. I've checked the rubber door seals and the rubber seals for the windows. The only thing I can see is that there is a small square gap between the top right hand corner...

I was able to get some slightly thinner steels which made it tolerable .
Pop the clutch and it was good for another.
It would slip after 50 miles of 5th gear.
The stuff put in it.

SO I got a 2005 rev that has a blown engine due to wet failure. Anyone heard of this? I guess it runs, but really bad, apparently the cylinders are torn up? Could this be fixed with a new top end or will I need a whole new motor(top end/crank)? Thanks...
