I tried to do my clutch to wet one. i drilled and tapped a hole to the clutch cover so i can put clutch oil in there. first i warmed up the engine so its easier to start then adjusted my clutch so tight that it disengages only when lever is pulled alltheway...

Interesting to see someone try though! Yeah, these clutches have a hard enough time finding grip i havent have any problems with....
And maby i have to get new clutch pads if i cant to make the clean or just make the wet clutch.

I have searched on here regarding clutches and the problems people have had but I have not seen any alternatives for their replacement.
Are there any other options for replacement clutch plates and baskets for the F800GS other than genuine BMW ones?

Operated, uses standard friction plates, isn't a slipper or auto, and is a wet clutch.

Just want to know how long should a street act clutch last? I have act2600 version. And does the pressure plat affects the duration of the clutch?

MyIt completely depends....
OEM clutches can last in oil or wet when you hard accelerate yes it will cause a clutch to slip cutting its life down.
It allot, well thats the clutch taking the brunt of the power and therefore wear.
