Has anyone here tried the upgraded wet clutch shoes from Airdam?? Airdam Clutches - For People Who Want to Go Fast! I just saw that they made such a thing for the cats and I now have a second slipping wet clutch. at the tune of $230 I hope they're fantastic...

This one only lasted 9 months....
Im gonna tear it down over the weekend and verify that is what the problem is.. .
My wet clutch is starting to slip a bit.
I haven't heard of anyone running them Yet Order some up, and let me know how they work .
I did not know if I should put this up here or in the "Driveline" category, so I'm sorry if this is the wrong place for this. This subject came up a coupple of years ago (on another forum) when people started having clutch slipping problems on there motorcycles...

Barnett clutch plates are the only ones in oil would destroy ....
Barnett clutch plates are the only ones derivatives will cause most wet clutches to slip.
Teflon derivatives will cause most wet clutches to slip.

(yes, my clutch pack by "energy conserving" oil, then there....
I was able to get some slightly thinner steels which made it tolerable .
Pop the clutch and it was good for another.
It would slip after 50 miles of 5th gear.
The stuff put in it.
SO I got a 2005 rev that has a blown engine due to wet failure. Anyone heard of this? I guess it runs, but really bad, apparently the cylinders are torn up? Could this be fixed with a new top end or will I need a whole new motor(top end/crank)? Thanks...
