If its diff wheels, different off set I recently had the same effect with my mk2 when I put the rear tyres on the front.

I have a 94 vit that has a 2" suspension lift and is used for pay and play days.

As in title, great condition and completely unkerbed, uncracked and with very good RFT (fitted Oct 2011) tyres fitted. A couple of stone chips but that is all. Never refurbished or repaired.
