Had my water pump replaced in my 06 solstice with 2.4L engine but now I have an annoying whining noise. Can anyone help? What is the noise and how can it be fixed. I was told it was the water pump but it can be now because it has be replaced.

I have swapped the gears, and same noise if that is 100% true but it's done it since new and has never had a problem aside from that noise new and has never had a problem....
