my rsx makes a whining sound when accellerating.. wonder what that can be..

Whining Noise Hay guys today when i started my VZ there was a weird whining noise. When i rev it whines more. It kinda sounds a bit like a Supercharger whine. (i wish was in ther )
Its was to wet and dark to look under the bonnet tonight, i'll do that...

The car isn't going to be driven till i get .

What to see if it made the noise stop.
So i'll change that on the weekend.
If it was a bearing and the noise stopped when i sprayed.

Just the other day i noticed a funny noise coming from the car. I turned down the radio and had a listen to it a bit more.
If the car is say at 3000rpm and i take my foot of the gas and let it slow the whining noise starts. Its doesn't appear when i accelerate...

Also you could check your tranny mount, if it's worn it ... .
But once it goes it drives normal it makes a whine, and eventually it'll make a whine in all gears.

After a good 15 min or so of driving I'm getting this really annoying whining noise, its a little more pronounced at idle but the longer I hear it, the more ill hear it. When it first starts it will only be heard under 2k rpms 2 min later 3k and so on...
