Most of my riding is commuting in Houston traffic. I am wearing a black helmet that is approaching needing to be replaced.
My question is this: is there a noticable difference in the heat inside a white (or light colored) helmet as compared to a black...

If you break out a thermometer, maybe or any dark helmet (like my burgundy one) will be measurably hotter than a white or high viz green visibility, makes white my....
If nothing else, a white helmet is much more visible.

I'm sure this is a bit of an overdone conversation, but it's time for a new lid and I've got the friends who insist on a white helmet for safety- visibility reasons. What do you think? Think it matters?

Ebay rarely see's a white Shoei Busa that cant buy the pads, but I could buy another Helmet the rite size and switch the pads, thats I already have one} and have them....
That will usally get you in the ball park on what they are worth used .

i try to make white helmets but they either turn out gray/silver or the white has a slight tint to it.
is there any way to get plain white?

But I seem to remember having to click on the already existing White color they have.
If you end up without a pure white option on the edit helmet screen you have to basically it's done...
