It's called Healing Sounds of Nature: Waterfall and Rain.
It has a clean and simple UI and the white noise sufficiently blocks out.

Ok, I don't know if this is/was a sys admin urban myth, but when I was a student I heard of technique to help sys admins monitor a server without actively and constantly checking on it.
What they would do is route something like CPU usage or network saturation...

Rather simple massive.
Or just find a sample, cut it up and drag it to each snare hit .
Possibly keep separate that can produce white noise.
Make a blasty white noise hit and mix it in with your snare, resample.

I just downloaded a White Noise cd from iTunes, and will play it for DS2 during his nap on the iPod. Lately his naps are hit and miss, sometimes long, more often though he wakes up after 40 minutes. I'm not sure what's waking him up - or rather, not letting...

We've used it since the day we brought DD home and have no plans to stop. Her bedroom is on the first floor, and I'm pretty sure if we didn't have the white noise machine we'd have to be silent every moment she slept.
