I'd like to point at wicd is under development again In /extra there's wicd as an option network manager. Pat (or Eric?) stated that wicd could disappear in a next release since it kind of seized develepment. Not only has there been some movement in the development of wicd since, but there's a new(er) release... Apt-get remove purge wicd still there Hi, I'm trying to remove wicd from ubuntu 10.4 with apt-get remove wicd and apt-get purge wicd but its still in the start menu and runs when I click it? How do i get uninstall wicd? I thought it was an 'unsolvable' bug in antiX. I considered dumping wicd for ages. Add the user demo then re-install the wicd-daemon package..that worked.
