Thin vs Wide Ties I wear a suit and tie everyday. For the office during the week I wear 2 and 3 piece suits.

If they have narrow lapels, or if the lapels look and appear for selecting wide....
But if your suits have good fit and do not look terribly old fashioned, and have wide lapels, I think you can get away with wide ties.
