I am going to go for modern radials to fit the original wheels on my older car. I really like the look of the wide white walls, from the late 50's but bleeding into the early 60's so I think it's still era appropriate for a 1962 model.

Anyone out there with a set of used 15" wide whitewall tires they don't want anymore, I'd be interested. They don't need to be perfect. They'll go on a car that won't get driven much.

Have 2 sets of 4 each steel trim rings.
1. 15 inch OD and 8 3/8 inch hole for the hubcap in center
2. 16 inch OD and 8.5 inch hole for the hubcap in center
not really sure if they are NOS but are new and found them years ago in a Mopar dealership.

To be a brand new coker wide white wall
and I was able to air sand the heavy scuff with 320 grit
jcwhitney used to sell white wall tire paint.

will clean them out real nice. Then treat with some sorta stuff that
prevents the rubber...
