I need some nice gunsmith to give me some measurements. I'm fitting a Wilson thumb safety to a Wilson frame and its a no go.
The diameter of the safety shaft is .157 and as best I can measure the hole is .154.
Obviously one is wrong and I can't find the...

Apparently Wilson's safety a shaft diameter of .156-.157" on the Wilson....
So that's strange.
I have a couple of spare 6S model wilson thumb this very same issue a couple of days ago, strange.
Oversized safety? Hole should be close to .1558.

so, been playing at Wilson golf Course at Griffith Park for a while. Its an LA city owned Muni.
I just realized it was designed by George C. Thomas. same guy that did Riveria, LA country club, Bel Air, etc.

They have some really underrated equipment in my opinion .
Tried wilson staff irons....didn't like them however, they may work for you.

Has anyone used the Wilson Combat Drop in Parts in your R1? Specifically I am wondering about the Beaver-tail grip safety, hammer, extended thumb safety, and extended slide stop. I was wondering how "drop in" these really are with the R1.
