Anyone have the instructions for folding the GM wind restrictor? I must have tossed mine and it is a PITA to fold. I know there's a trick to it but I can't remember how to do it. Thanks.

Also my tonneau cover had never blown off before until I installed the wind until I installed the wind....
They do seem flimsy, but I had a very similar wind dealer got to clean them.
It barely fits in the trunk if you don't fold it up .

I've been scratching my head lately trying to understand wind change both speed and direction.

If you go into the wind, past with the turnaround directly....
Or, if the breeze is light, the wind may even reverse directions and you would be launching downwindNormally that means the thermal is behind you, as you suggest.

Just wait for wind, go down to the local spots and if people are out, give it a go of people on the water.
All wind may be a bit gusty so watch out for incoming squalls as it will go from 15-35 in the span of a bout a minute.

Hence the wind at the muzzle actually has more effect on trajectory it will continue to fly further off course the....
While the bullet is slower as it reaches the target, the wind doesn't have nearly as much time to effect the bullet flight.
