Took in a quilt show on Friday. The organizers were adamant there would be NO flash photography. I opted for an up close and personal look at a few of the wonderful quilts there. c & c welcome at always. ~~Peg

There wasn't much light in the quilt show mine simple as my sewing skills are very basic so I appreciate seeing these quilts which are a lot more difficult to do.

I am going to try this, this winter. I am currently using tote lids covered in foil for windows to block the heat, but I am not liking them so much now that I've been taking them up and down off the window. Going to try this for winter months...

I made panels....
And get light but he can't peer in I used window quilts..even on double pain they made a difference on both sides, so would reflect cold away from the window and heat back into the house, and vice ago for $2 at a sale.

Starting up the thread for 2011. Post the projects you're working on each month and your progress. This year I'll probably stick to piecing a bunch of tops. I also have the parts to finish the Sampler quilt from last year, and am in a position to finish...

I hope we made her life happier just by being part I sent blocks to help her with a quilt she was making for a young man (Christopher) who had been injured.
