You will probably need to edit the /usr/share/applications .desktop file for wine/JWPce.
There's always something else to deal with.
Convinced that's neither a wine nor a JWPce problem.

I don't believe there's any pre-made way to do this, but you could probably make a Debian package pretty easily that would depend on Wine, copy an MSI onto the machine, then run Wine's msiexec /i /q have resorted to reinstalling Windows....

There are two versions of Wine in the official repos repository as the package simply called wine and version 1.1.31-0ubuntu3, based on a later beta should find Wine....

Yes it would be a good: distributing a statically-linked....
That way there's no fear that Wine will change something in the future and prevent your app from working.
You could do what Google does and package Wine with the application.
