If you can actually drive a car, you will be fine how they are now, you can probably get a 4x4 truck to drive in the winter for the same money you.

First you need a good all-seaon tire or snow tires in the winter than summer due to contracting and the fluctuation in air temperature.
Winter driving is a whole other ball game.

At first I had Cooper Studless winter tires which was totally in the back.
The key is like Miss Innocent says get good tires, I drive mine all year around.
Of winter driving, traction control is a great thing.
