Mostly I prefer anything that's citrus (smells clean) or a mild flower scent. I bought a bunch of these once because they discontinued this scent but have since brought it back.

Newer versions of any of them all see to lack scent. The Honey lavender barely has a scent. ~Formerly known. Little strong at first but then it turns into a nice, clean scent. It's really not a winter scent at all, it's very fresh and sweet smelling. It on Amazon.

Burberry Brit in the winter/colder months. In the fall I also wear Burberry Brit, but I'm not 100% sold . Great scent around winter. Like Lolita Lempicka Si Senorita.

Scented viola/pansy I bought a wonderful pansy/viola this weekend. It's called Rebecca and is blue and yellow but pale the scent is absolutely wonderful and i could smell the three plants i bought all the way home in the car!! If you do not get snow in the winter, you might even try a dwarf lemon tree; lemons and smaller border type plants.... Type plants but I'm after the scent most importantly.
