I still don't get why people want Wireless stuff. It's a little bit more pratical, but a lot less comfortable to work with : the mouses are far heavier because of the batteries, they are to the least 10 times less sensitive and as for the keyboard, try...

Is there a wireless keyboard and optical mouse combo where the mouse has 5 programmable buttons (plus scroll wheel) but the keyboard is just a plain standard 102 key IBM AT type keyboard, i.e. no extra buttons for the web/email or multimedia etc?

I just got a new Asus Aspire Revo, put the batteries in the wireless keyboard and mouse, but I can't get the system to recognize either. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure....
It is a tiny little dongle for the keyboard inside the battery compartment of the mouse !
Dig it out, plug it in, and all will be fine.

During boot, my wireless USB keyboard doesn't work. Other USB corded keyboards work, so I know USB is enabled in my BIOS. This is a bit annoying because it makes it impossible to enter setup, choose boot OS, etc before Windows starts.
Any suggestions?...
