There are 'working tax credits' 'child tax credits' and 'childcare tax credits'
and they all are classed as Tax credits Source(s): get working tax credits.

My research has shown this:
Permitted work = under 16 hours for less than £97.50 (aware of other criteria).
Working Tax Credits = eligible if work over 16 hours with disability.
Jobseekers would require actively seeking more hours which isn't possible...

If you fill out the tax form your employer should provided to....
If you only earn $20 per week, that is only $1040 per year which is well below the tax free threshold of $6000 (soon to be $18,200) and you will not have to pay any tax.

Unfamilar w/ governments giving volunteers tax rebates/credit stemming from community activism hoping for governmental....
Generally you can only get tax set aginst earned income that relates to it, so if you as an itemized deduction if you volunteer.
