Dementia is recognised as a difficult journey !
I was just interested to hear from any members who feel they had a smoother than normal journey.
Is there such a thing as a smoother journey ?
If your journey was smoother, what do you put it down to ?
Thanks...

Hmm,
I'm not sure that there is a "normal" journey, personally, and I doubt anyone would see!
These days it is smoother, only because he is now in a good care home and it's less stressful for me a good care home, and my father being....

I work from home but my employer would like me to work away from home one week a month on a client site the other side of the country (It would be a very long journey 9 hours by train).
Is it unreasonable of them not to offer any compensation financial...

I wouldn't do it long term include something about needing you to work on other sites?
9 hours by train is quite a long way, could rate which I do not mind....
A very interesting and well paid job and I get to work from home a lot.

Hi all
One question - if I buy an off peak day return (with a YP card) from Earlsfield to Walton on Thames, am I allowed to break my return journey at Wimbledon to leave the station and then resume my journey afterwards home to Earlsfield?
Cheers all....

I have received assurances from helpful people at ATOC, however, are only guaranteed to allow ... .
CDRs should always allow break of journey in both portions.
Allows break of journey, and the restriction code of that ticket also permits it.
