Might have been a LeMeridien hotel...? Worst - It has to be one of those by the hour the worst ones
i just couldnt with that indian hotel, it had no reviews
and was the only hotel for miles ....
And was pretty isolated.

This is the rudest most arrogant hotel lve ever encountered, do not stay here if you have any sense, they will charge you for every single minute let alone hour of over stay and be incredibly rude about it to. Unbelieveably awful service.

1. Rooms: very small and dirty, just enough space to go around the bad. Cockroaches in the room running at night. The bad sheeting was not replaced for 3 days and we talked to our Apple vacation rep about it, he was not surprised...

Hotel room that my family and I stayed in had holes in the wall ,piss stains the the ceiling, the sink and the tub was stoped up and on top of all of that the hotel clerk got very rude when told about the room conditions. Never ever go to the Days Inn...

La Jolla is a pretty expensive place, so my friends and I ended up cheaping out on the hotel, but in hindsight I really wish we hadn't.
The worst hotel I've ever had was in La Jolla San Diego.

Less expensive than the two mentioned above, it was more than adequate .
Look at the Hotel Parkview.
If you do opt for a hotel check out Sevilla and Telegrafo they are better options at a slightly higher cost.

$1,200 a night for a hotel, just maybe, I'm biased.
Of a hotel I have also stayed at (thus, I agree with his comments about the hotel), I'm not aware the idea that they are trying to rip people off comes from, I'm not sure.
