Would removing the NBA lottery be a good idea?
It would remove all the conspiracy theories, and allow the truly worst team in the NBA to have its own pick; however, it might promote tanking on purpose to achieve a lock on the #1 pick.

Its official. The regular season is over sadness for us Rockets fans. Oh well off into the future for bigger and better things.
I was bored so thought of guessing the lottery selection on which 3 teams would win. So I went through the history of the draft...

2012 3 7 2 = 12 (2 way tie for 3rd worst record)
My guess have 2 unprotected picks in the lottery no matter what happens which boost their top 3 chances but the 6th worst record was in for last 3....

Did anyone hear Jeff Van Gundy talking about how he would change the lottery?
Basically, he said that he would take the bottom 14 teams (the lottery teams) and give them the first 14 picks (like what is done now), but instead...
