I would take Ubuntu's Unity.
Metro may work very well for phones and tablets and game consoles Canonical's original Unity desktop environment seem better than Metro .

2.9 you cannot update without wrecking....

I have been running Onyx since testing and have never had an issue updating...just stick to the enabled repositories and you should not have any problems .

It's really a great experience.
I have to say that I do prefer OS X over untiy but that I prefer the Gnome3 shell over OS X .
I still have my mac, I switched my dell over to ubuntu.

Does anyone know if there are any issues with purging deleted messages from a Dovecot Maildir system. i.e. running an external script (as this is what some people say they do without any problem) to delete the messages. I worry about it wrecking an indexing...
