Sample Chatter Excerpts
How often do you write letters?
I manage to pop out a 7-or-8 pager on a daily basis. But then again, I love to write and draw, and half of my letters are illustrations that I send him because I know he appreciates it. I send him random stuff too, like funny pictures I come across online, cards, pictures of us and pics of me, just anything that I know he will appreciate. source
Hand written or typed letters?
I've actually starting typing emails to him, writing a bit each day, but instead of sending them to him, I'll save it as a draft, print it and just mail it off to him! But I also do handwrite letters now and then, because I do think it is a lot more personal and apparently I have "perfect dainty" handwriting to him so either way its all good! source
Do you write him angry letters?
If I am angry over something that has nothing to do with him or us, I probably won't tell him since there is nothing he can do about it anyway. If I am angry with him about something, yes, I will write and tell him exactly what I think and why. That is very similar to how it was before he got arrested. source
What do you write in your letters?
I just want to share that my husband knows that I would be better off not knowing everything. I'm sure a lot happens that I can not even imagine. He mostly fills his letters with prayers for me, when he gets good reports and his supporting others with the word of God. I write to just let him know that he can depend on me ---always. source
Do the guards read all incoming letters?
Every piece of ingoing and outgoing mail is read and copies are made for the files! This has been the procedure for the last 5 places my man was in while on tour with the feds. source
