I am not sure wubi works with efi. See your other thread for some more efi suggestions. You are having your issues.

But the version of wubi.exe must be the same as the version of the ISO . Then start the wubi.exe and it will use the ISO instead of downloading from the internet . If you have the ISO, you need to put the wubi.exe and the ISO file in a same folder .

Solution in the end was to simply do a complete install of Ubuntu, removing the need for Wubi.
