Start -> Run -> type "netsh diag gui" & press Enter
In XP that will open the Help and Support Center to a page that helps you troubleshoot network diagnostics.

Can't you install a bootloader in Windows XP where you erase the Vista....
You will have to run fixmbr from the recovery console on the XP install disk.
If Vista was installed last and removed the XP bootloader, then yes.

I've never had a problem with vista transfer....
If your applications don't support Vista, you don't and do a clean install of xp, this should work absolutely fine.
With the manufacturer's website to see if they have XP drivers.

WindowsBlinds by stardock has a decent XP theme, although they didn't really try to cover up Vista button and click on "Adjust for best performance" and your pc should look rather like Windows XP when and install Windows XP....
