Please clarify your request....
What is "MFATXPNT/ESX500SP04"? eg: a network adapter model number or something else? I've never seen a model number that was split in 2 different parts by the "/" character so I have no idea where to look or what to look for .

What happens when you plug it into a working USB port?

A USB mouse should not require a driver when used in Windows XP it should be 100% plug and play.

I didn't find any drivers (it's possible that none are required since the OS itself should provide support for this device), but I did find this helpful article that you might want to read:

It should start with USB\VID
Are you certain it requires a driver? Have you checked the USB ports in Device Manager to insure they are working? What happens on-screen....
The mouse, click the Details tab, and give me the hardware ID string... .

It is the perfect accessory....
This is the only hand held mini trackball ever made with FOUR BUTTONS AND A SCROLL WHEEL.. .
This is a Walmart/Big lots / etc generic brand product made by http://www.sakar.com -- they provide no information on their website .
