find your wd 3200 drive and delete any partitions and recreate a new ntfs partition (this is risky so don't choose your main computer hard drive)

The xbox360 supports 1080p over component for games.
This link provides the official graph of which resolution is supported for which cable type .
Component can only handle a maximum of 1080i, while HDMI can handle 1080p .
