Yes I realize that I have been going 1 by 1 entering hotels on there and they each seem to be a 15 minute drive to Xel Ha.
You can find xel ha on google maps and than search for hotels.

I was checking to see if anyone has ever been and if so what did they it? It seems kinda expensive but im sure worth the money. Would love to try it if it is.

My clients really like this place.
The way it goes:
Xplor for ziplines and other fun activities .
Skip Xel Ha if you're going to Akumal, you should get your fill of snorkeling there.

Xel Ha, in our opinion, is a far more natural only....
Xcaret is an eco park with all Xel Ha, but as DaBride said, they are quite different.
Xel ha is a water adventure.
Totally different kind of excursions.

Hello, how far is Xel Ha from GBP Coba? Do you suggest a taxi or buy into the AI package where they pick you up and drop you off? Group of 4 adults Prefer flexibility on having our own car but not sure how far away it is???? tks

Go as soon as it opens ( 8.30 ish ) to see it at its best... .
Also would be easy to grab the collectivo( only 30 pesos each direct at the lobby and drop you right at the door at xel ha.
Vacations offers a free shuttle to Xel Ha.

The admission price isn't cheap for Xel-ha (around $80.00 pp going to excursions once you try....
Not even doing Xel-ha alone for a half day (well maybe).
I don't think planning a half day doing both of these is really workable .

Looking at their site, they've got some great packages, including snorkeling and also guided tours to Tulum . Has anyone gone to this "all-inclusive aquatic park" -- any thoughts?

They pick you up from your hotel, take you to xel-ha hours tops, then they take you back to xel-ha you still have around 5hrs to spend at xel-ha.
We just did tulum and xel-ha tour on Sunday.

Whats the best way to get to hel ha from the resort? I tried to see if i could find how much a taxi cost from there or if i should book the transportation thru the park? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated, traveling apr 21-28th!

Yal Ku is nice, and if you follow, 2011 where do you park your stuff....
We've never been to Xel Ha, but have been to Yal Ku Lagoon which is not a "water park to XelHa cause it's a 'water park'....we like natural things.

We're interested in Xel-ha and Xcaret in Cozumel but are concerned that the time to and from these detinations is a bit much. Has anyone done either one and what did you think about the park and would you say the time to an from was or wasn't an issue...

I wouldn't say the trip to the park was too lengthy, as it's broken into several pieces.
A ferry ride to Playa del Carmen, a walk to the buses, and a final bus ride to the park.
Was great.
