Xenon flash tubes in series Hi.. i have one of my crazy ideas. My idea is to link conventional 13 mm arc cheap xenon tube scraped from disposable cameras in series, to form a big massive flash lamp.
I have 8 flash tubes with relative electronics and capacitors...

Re: Xenon flash tubes in series Only issue I can think of, is the outer 2 flash tubes have tube and dump all the energy meant for the other 2 into that 1.

I have a new N8 and the camera flash does not work. I have tried it in automatic mode and manually set it to on with no result. I have also tried a reboot and this also had no effect.
Has anybody else had this problem, or will a visit to a repair centre...

I have tried every option available, but the Xenon flash is gone.
My xenon flash is not working.
Back and I find the same problem.

Halogen headlights to Xenon headlights Would going from halogen headlights to factory xenon headlights (Gen1 reflector style) be an easy reftro fit job?
i.e, remove old units, fit new xenon units, plumb in washers, align them, off I go!

I keep wondering, Why is it that phone manufacturers continue to use LED flashes'? I know they are good for video recording but why not have an LED and a Xenon?
I have just bought myself a Nokia N82 because not only is it still...

The n82 is very good the brightest flash i seen LED 'flashes' (they aren't really flashes imo) and a xenon flash too.
Seemed a strange move.

Hi,
I have xenon headlights on my Golf, but the sidelights are just standard yellowy type bulbs. Does anyone know where I can get xenon like sidelights to match my headlights?

I'm not sure if you can get xenon bulbs white light for mains :) I just read another post on here saying that xenon full beams-xenon-white-p-2395.html

Or xenon? Again, mine are the standard yellowy colour.

Bought these to use for their ballasts, but the normal Xenon ballasts won't match up to my Bi-Xenon. So now they're for sale.
$300 OBO takes them. Want these gone kinda fast so I'm open to offers.
Included in this is: Projectors Xenon Shrouds Headlight...

But I would think that these would fit your car .
As far as I know, these are not Bi-xenon.
It doesn't come with the outside housing.

Is it as simple as getting some genuine xenon headlamps for a 57 plate A3 S Line 3dr and plugging them straight in to replace the original headlamps?? Or is there quite a bit more to it...(i imagine so)
Also, is it possible to get DRL working as well ...

You-xenon it's a different ball game, new modules etc do a search on google but type audi-sport and 8P-sport' 'xenon retrofit' '8p'.
If you want single xenon then it pretty much is a plug and play job with some coding required.

Xenon is far superior scattered.
In addition to the longer reach objectionable, but these days I'm rarely troubled by the brightness of the xenon HID's.
Cars with xenon HID's that I strongly prefer them to the halogens.

I am looking to change my H3 halogen main beam bulbs in my Superb (I know it has Bi-xenon's but it also has additional H3 bulbs for main beam & 'flashing')
I have narrowed it down to either the Ring Xenon Max or the Osram...

Well the Ring Xenon Max (H3) bulbs are certainly a whiter colour, not road tested them yet though
(excuse the dirty headlights....
I have just bought the Ring Xenon Max's, so time will tell how good they are.
