Well,I recently upgraded to CM7 GingerDX v.22 and the dialer app used is
the WyContacts Froyo MOD v 1.2 (You can see that in the About section).
The app itself is named phone.app.
So,my question is : Are there any alternatives to this one?

ExDialer is the best....
For alternate stock phone.apk, maybe se dialer it.

Instructions:
1) Make sure u backup original files just incase
2) Using Root Explorer or any other similar files copy and replace the 2 apks attached to system/app
3) You would probably get FCs, dw just Reboot phone

I can dial phone numbers just fine, however, when I need to enter additional information like the last four digits of my social security number or my birthday, the numbers all register on the screen, but the robot always tells me the info is not correct...

Ik vind het een erg gaaf toestel, persoonlijk zou ik het ook niet erg vinden om later ICS te krijgen. Heb nu een HTC Sensation (zelfde SoC als de Xperia S alleen dan op 1.2Ghz geclocked) deze draait gewoon Android 2.3.4. Bevalt prima
